There is a feast of flavour out there! Keen to explore?

Nikki Brighton is wild about weeds. A writer, activist, and locavore, she is well known in the Midlands for her passion for the environment, community, and local living.

Nikki’s immersive experiences focus on finding and tasting weeds found in gardens and public spaces.   She knows all the spots to find wild food – and where to source the best local ingredients in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. With Nikki as your guide, you will learn to identify various delicious edibles and surprise your palate while foraging for free food.

“A walk with Nikki is an absolute eye-opener. I was astonished to discover that a lot of plants I saw as weeds before are actually edible. For those who want to reconnect with the nature around them, this experience is a must. Nikki has so much knowledge and an amazing way of telling of her passion for plants and foraging.”
